The Big Three in Miami

In case you don't know who the Big Three in Miami are: Dwyane Wade, Lebron James, and Chris Bosh. The big free agency story in the NBA this past summer was Lebron and Chris joining forces with Dwyane in Miami to be able to contend for a title. The Heat are getting ripped apart in the media because their current record is 8-6. Yes, these players are all-stars but you have to remember that they have a brand new team, where most of the players were not even on the Heat last year. They need some major help inside and the call has been answered by signing center Erick Dampier. I believe that Dampier will help them a lot with rebounds and defense. It will take time for the Heat as a team and "the Big Three" to get used to playing with each other and with one another's tendencies and with each player's role. On the other hand, they need to start playing as a team because it's mostly one-on-one with whoever gets the ball. We know that they will make the playoffs and have the talent to make it to the Eastern Conference Finals but I just don't know if they can beat the "big four" and the Boston Celtics in a 7 game series. The media needs to calm down. It takes time for a team to click but they are dealing with injuries to Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller but I feel like there is not enough passion and desire as a team. They need that passion and most importantly focus on playing as a team, playing hard nose defense and hit the boards! Looking forward for Christmas when the Heat will take on the defending Champions, Los Angeles Lakers.

Calling all sports video game fans

I was really bummed to hear that NBA 2k11 did not come out for the Wii on October 5, 2010 even though www.2ksports.com said that it would come out that day. It's now October 19, 2010 and I heard from Best Buy that it won't come out until October 21, 2010. How annoying is this? False advertising for sure. Not happy but oh well.
